When I first came online to earn a bit of green, I spent most of my time signing up with GPT (Get Paid To) sites and working like a dog, day after day.
I’ll be honest with you here – it was not the most enjoyable of experiences, but it did pay legit cash.
My main earning avenue was the mighty Clixsense but I did use a handful of other sites – Clickworker.com was one of these sites.
So, what is Clickworker.com?
Is Clickworker.com scam…or is Clickworker legit?
WHY has Clickworker.com managed to stand the test of time online?
Let’s take a closer look…

What is Clickworker?
Clickworker.com has been up and running since 2005 – which is quite an achievement in the ‘work online’ world! It’s a German microjob website (or GPT site) that boasts over a million happy members/workers.
It’s built on the concept of crowdsourcing. This is when businesses post small (and rather tedious) data entry jobs on a ‘first come first serve’ basis.
The jobs are posted over a 24 hour period and it is up to the members to get in there first and complete them.
When I was using the platform the microjobs were made up from the following categories:
- Various data entry tasks
- Tasks centered on writing
- Basic web research
- The dreaded online surveys
These kinds of tasks really are boring but at the end of the day – they take no more than about 10 minutes to complete (each!). Clickworker.com actually claims that it is possible to earn about $10 an hour with them…but I never managed to reach this dizzy earning height!
Clickworker Login – The Membership Process
Clickworker is open to anyone really BUT it favors the native English speakers (for obvious reasons). There are a couple of tests when you sign up with a profile but these are incredibly simple to pass (as long as your English is up to scratch!).
The higher the mark you get in these tests, the higher you will rank for the jobs – this means that those with a high entry score will always be awarded with more jobs!
Unfortunately Clickworker tends to favor the US-based workers so keep that in mind when signing up.
If you are located outside the US, you will need to use the Universal Human Relevant System that the site provides – this usually means that there are not that many jobs available to you (which sucks!).
I would always recommend that new members check with the site first before getting their hopes up – make sure your location is not going to be a problem, and make sure there are going to be jobs available to you.

Jobs Like Clickworker – How Much Can You Earn?
Well you certainly ain’t gonna get rich using this website I’m afraid!
If you set your mind to it, and have a high enough level of discipline, I would say you could earn anywhere between $5 to $10 an hour (but I never managed to reach the $10 mark!).
I have heard about a group of super-workers on the site that have managed to hone their skills on a handful of tasks. They are now so good at these tasks they actually earn about $20 an hour (although I have seen no proof linked to this claim!).
I should really point out that 99% of these Clickworker jobs have a learning curve in place – you can’t just jump into them and produce shoddy results.
On average, most new members take at least a fortnight before they start earning half-decent cash – you NEED to learn the ropes first!
You receive your Clickworker wage through either a bank deposit or the much more popular Paypal – every month.
You need to reach the $10 minimum threshold before you can request ANY sort of payment.
- Sometimes the members completely outweigh the number of jobs on offer – this means that there is a lot of waiting around, desperately trying to ‘get in there first!’.
- The earning levels are not as good as the site claims (in my humble opinion). I feel that this sort of site is more suited to students looking to make a bit of extra beer money.
- I’ve noticed a lot of members reporting technical issues on the tasks. This can be infuriating – especially when you are near completing a task.
- Most of the job rewards are not instant – you have to wait for your work to be checked before your balance is updated.
Is Clickworker Legit?
Yeah it’s definitely legit, although it does have a few glitches from time to time. If you are looking to make an extra bit of monthly cash, then this is a great place to start!
It’s got a good support system and it has always been known to pay on time, every month.
But, if you are looking to make a full time income then I recommend looking elsewhere…
