Is THW Global Scam?

Is THW Global Scam?

I don’t mind admitting that I don’t really use cinemas these days – their admission prices have been terrifying for over two decades now and don’t even get me started on the cost of snacks!

But the main reason I don’t use cinemas is that I watch all my films online…through dodgy film streaming sites.

Yeah I know, I know, they’re illegal and I shouldn’t be doing it…

But I don’t really give a f### as most people use these types of sites these days.

At the end of the day the internet should of known better – the birth of YouTube opened the doors to a mass of streaming sites and I for one am pretty pleased about it.

So most of us watch a lot of crap online these days – what if we were paid for doing it?

Not a bad thought really is it?

THW Global claims to be one of these pay-you-to-watch sites so I decided to check them out for myself.

So, is THW Global scam and a waste of time or can you really earn money through watching videos online?

Let’s take a closer look…

The THW Global Review

THW Global started off it’s internet journey in 2016 (last May to be precise!) and it’s based on getting members to promote their own THW Global websites and watching videos/giving opinions for credit.

The site does claim that you can make up to $25 an hour for just watching videos but I was pretty sure this was a crock before I’d even signed up.

The THW Global Review

The sign up process seemed a little bit ‘out there’ to me but I was eventually allowed in for free. Apparently certain people need to be invited to sign up with the site…and I have no idea why?

I spent a fair amount of time searching around the site after I’d first logged in because I was fascinated by the commotion it had drummed up online – I’ve come across quite a few posts regarding this site and they all think it’s the dog’s bollocks.

Unfortunately I hit WAY too many red flags on the website to get carried away with these positive reviews…

The Shadow People

Okay, when I sign up to work online I NEED to know there is some sort of face behind the system. Someone who is in charge and not afraid to take the blame when the sh#t hits the fan.

The owner registration information is set to “private” which never really fills me with that much confidence. Why don’t they want their adoring public to know who they are? Beats me!

At the time of writing this I also couldn’t locate a  “Contact Us” or “About Us” page – not really the norm for work online sites.

Is THW Global a Scam or is it Legit?

You see, people are getting wiser and wiser to this type of crap these days – they don’t just sign up with anyone to earn online and hope their money is safe.

There are far too many scare stories floating about online and people don’t want one of these stories to involve them!

So you need transparency – without it I could never give a site a positive review (sorry!).

Is THW Global a Scam or is it Legit?

Well first impressions of this earning avenue were not great so I decided to do a bit of digging online to find out what complaints I could come across.

There seems to be a large volume of complaints directed at technical issues within the site. Many members have complained that they are not able to view the majority of videos therefore they have not been able to earn (much).

On top of this they have tried to complain to the site owners directly – but you can only get in contact with them through your upline.

Not the most reassuring of contact mediums really…

Next we have the ever so slight problem of nobody getting any money for carrying out these video tasks!

Yeah that’s right, the social media campaign claims the site is still in beta mode…so when can we expect payment?

Nobody seems to know!

This social media campaign really is in full swing and a lot of people seem to be signing up to the site – who wouldn’t want to make money by simply watching videos?

But nobody is getting paid and this site is getting a mountain of demographic information for free INCLUDING email addresses…

Anyone smell a rat here?

I could be wrong, but this seems like a brilliant way to gather contact info for a new upcoming offer. After all, why is this site STILL in beta mode?

Anytime a company claims to pay lots of money for simple online tasks, that’s a big warning flag.

When they stay in beta mode…it’s even more worrying!

At the end of the day I wouldn’t recommend ANY of my visitors to sign up with this bunch at the moment. Something just don’t smell right with them.

I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

It is free so you might not end up losing any money…but what about losing your contact info and the spam filter on your mail box?

  1. Thanks for the interesting read! I have never heard of THW Global and from what you’re saying it doesn’t sound good. Some of my friends have been scammed and I like to let them aware of this.

I see they haven’t been around very long.. it might be interesting to see where they will be in a year’s time. I enjoy Netflix movies and TV series and so the THW Global could be a nice fit for me. BUT, reading your review, it definitely puts up a red light. I hope you will do another review later… let me know when you do.

I see your number 1 recommendation is Wealthy Affiliate.. I have heard positive things about them… heading there now! Thank you!

  2. Hello chris
Thanks for a very informative read Chris.Saw banners while surfing looking for other things and this thw seemed*good” not convincing but worth a try, sometimes some online marketers say get in early to reap the best profits and Thw global has not been around long.
My search in google landed me on your site. After reading your review,I’m sure this is not a program for anyone serious about earning online, contact pages or about us pages should be one of the first any business should have,if they are not willing to put this up,why should l trust them?
Anyway, earning $25 just to watch videos does not exist, this again should raise some red flags. As you mentioned in your post, many people might be signing up,but these are people who got misled by an affiliate hoping to make money once the program starts paying(that is if they will pay).

    1. Yeah it’s a social media scam route that many opportunists are trying out these days – unfortunately they seem to be attracting a lot of newbies….

  3. Really interesting review, I’ve used some of these sites before together with sites like swagbucks- in my experience if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is!

I’ve not used THW before, and thanks to this review I won’t bother, I’ll take your word that something isn’t right.

    Keep up the good work!
