Okay guys, back to the whole ‘health and beauty MLM’ sector, once again – I seem to be covering A LOT of these recently!
Today we will be taking a look at the Plexus Worldwide company – a setup that has received numerous good reviews online…but also certain claims that these reviews are biased and ‘paid’.
So, are these reviews based on Plexus Worldwide fraud?
Is Plexus Worldwide scam?
Let’s take a closer look…

What is Plexus Worldwide?
Plexus Worldwide is yet another company that makes it’s money through a MLM setup – they concentrate on flogging health and wellness products (from what I could see, most of these products targeted overweight issues).
It was launched back in 2006 and it has been growing ever since.
The MLM setup they have chosen means that they are not selling their products out of any stores – they use their ‘workforce’ (i.e. you and I) to sell their products.
Like most MLM companies, they also rely on recruitment to make their business model work.
To become a distributor with Plexus, you will have to pay an annual membership fee of $34.95 to stay active. You must also remember that you are going to have to buy their products…before selling them!
Making Money With Plexus Worldwide Stock
Nothing new to see here – a typical MLM funnel for making money…
There are two main ways to make money as a Plexus Worldwide Ambassador (that’s a distributor!) – you can sell their products or you can draw new recruits into your downline.
If you manage to get any recruits into your downline, you will then make commissions off the sales/recruitments they make.
You buy Plexus products at a ‘discounted’ price, meaning you can sell them on at a good profit.
You will also be given your own unique Plexus Worldwide website that you can sell products on 24/7 basis, without ever actually buying and handling the product.
The recruitment side of things is pretty much the same as every other MLM opportunity out there – you are trying your best to rope new members in so that you can earn off their work.
How effective is this?
Well, recruiting for MLM is a skill all in itself – and you have to be pretty heartless with it!
In my experience, the large majority of new members end up desperately hustling their own family members (or friends) into the system when they realize they are losing money every month!
Plexus Worldwide Complaints
Okay, now we get to the juicy stuff – what are the main Plexus Worldwide complaints found floating about online?
Stepping over to the BBB, or Better Business Bureau, we can see that Plexus in not actually registered with them…and they only receive a rating of C+
That’s not terrible…but it’s not a great rating either!
I’ve also come across a few complaints online that regard credit card info…
Now, I’m not 100% sure that these statements are true, but they’re worth mentioning here all the same!
Certain past members have complained about misuse of their credit card info – if this is true then it is certainly something you should keep in mind.
Side effects were often listed from (so called) real people who used this brand – these includes symptoms such as headaches, insomnia, jitters, rapid heart rate, and anxiety.
Again, I don’t know any of these people, but I struggle to see why they would come online to make up stories about side effects?
The last complaint I would like to cover is regarding the 60 day money back guarantee – apparently this is not all it’s cracked up to be…
Numerous past members have complained about not being able to get hold of the company after they decided they want a refund…therefore being stuck with the products and a monthly bill to pay!
Is Plexus Worldwide Scam?
It’s a hard one to judge this – I encountered some pretty sketchy complaints about the company…but I’ve also encountered some glowing reviews.
What you believe – is up to you!
At the end of the day, this is a MLM system and therefore I would never recommend it to people looking to build an online business.
As with most MLM systems, the products are very important because they are the fuel for the company’s engine. If you are not selling something that is completely unique, then you are going to struggle to make money.
Nothing that Plexus offers is unique – you could probably pick up similar products for half the price at your local chemists.
When you get involved with a MLM setup you are pretty much going to have to sell your soul – the products will be gathering dust in your garage until you manage to palm them off to someone.
Are you the heartless type?
Can you sell snow to an Eskimo?
Can you afford to fail at this type of thing?
You also have to remember that you are not going to be the only one selling these products – even the recruits you rope in will form some sort of competition!
If you are looking to set up an online business then you should really be looking at a FREE option – you shouldn’t be paying for the opportunity…
