What is The LuLaRoe? IS a multilevel marketing company that centers on selling fashion clothing for both sexes and kids.

It has been up and running since 2012 and was originally put together by DeAnne Stidham.

The most famous product it offers is a fashionable range of leggings – something I personally can’t stand but hey, nobody said I was a fashion guru!

The leggings seem to have made the LuLaRoe pretty famous in fashion circles, but they are now stretching out a bit and expanding.

They also offer skirts, dresses and t-shirts these days.

LuLaRoe Pop Up Ideas

Okay, stay with me on this one – it can be a little confusing if you don’t read it slowly enough…

So, how do you make money with LuLaRoe?

Independent consultants, also known as LuLaRoe Fashion Retailers, typically sell LuLaRoe clothing through something called ‘Pop Up Boutiques’.

What are these Pop Up Boutiques?

Well, they are sort of like a Tupperware home party – the type of arranged party where the person in charge tries their best to flog you something!

These party ‘arrangers’ are known as ‘consultants’, and are able to earn between 35% – 50% of gross sales in commissions (apparently).

There is just one catch though…

To keep your job as a consultant, you must sell at least 33 items of clothing a month (otherwise you will not be paid your commission!).

LuLaRoe Compensation Plan Alternatives

So you’re a little bit worried about not reaching the 33 items sold a month?

I don’t blame you – I would be too!!!

But, there is another option to make money with the LuLaRoe setup – recruiting (basic affiliate marketing)

You can also earn money by recruiting others into the LuLaRoe business opportunity.

Get ready for this mouthful – As a sponsor, you can earn a 5% override bonus from the personal volume of recruited consultants.

But once again there is a slight catch…

You need to buy at least 175 items from LuLaRoe, each month, before you can receive these commissions as a sponsor.

I don’t know about you – but I’m not that impressed!

If this rather confusing fashion setup is not for you – why not try earning simple money by completing simple tasks online at Clixsense instead? (It’s FREE after all!).

How to Become a LuLaRoe Consultant

It’s actually not that easy to sign up with this bunch, which is a bit strange really…

First of all you have to locate a local fashion retailer sponsor, grab something called a ‘Independent Consultant Program Application and Agreement’ off them, then submit it.

Alternatively, you can look for LuLaRoe affiliate websites online or hunt out a few linked to the company’s website.

Once you have gone through all that…confusing sh#t…you will need to put in an initial order.

Now, here’s the point where your wallet takes a massive smashing!

Okay, your initial order must be in the 275-350 clothing piece range.

This order will contain 80 sets of the world famous leggings –  and the rest will be made up of the other items LuLaRoe offer.

LuLaRoe Consultant Complaints

On one of the LuLaRoe affiliate websites I visited – there was a small disclosure in the footer of the home page.

Now, this disclosure pointed out that 72.63% of all LuLaRoe Retailers didn’t make anything in an entire year.

That seems to be amplified a bit on certain work-at-home forums – members struggle to make any sort of profit at times.

I’ve also located a few complaints from LuLaRoe customers regarding the quality of the rather famous leggings – apparently not all of them are up to scratch!

Our friends at the BBB (Better Business Bureau) also seem to have taken a bit of a dislike to Lularoe – giving them a low, low rating.

Now, I’m not 100% sure this low rating is that fair – it could be based on the defective clothing complaints floating about out there, NOT the marketing side of things?

What worries me most about this setup is the cost a new member must incur – a lot of newbies to the LuLaRoe marketing setup have simply ended up with a box full of clothes…they can’t make a profit on.

I would suggest that you are 100% confident in your salesman (or saleswoman) abilities before taking on a LuLaRoe job.

Is LuLaRoe a Scam?

No, I couldn’t really call this bunch a scam…but it’s a money making avenue I would never travel down!

I don’t like multilevel marketing companies on any level – but people do make money with them.

If this is your sort of thing I would recommend thinking things through first – can you afford it? Are you capable of selling 33 clothing pieces each month to receive your commission?
