Is Gaming Jobs Online a Scam?

I often feel that the best online scams are the ones that manage to tug on your interests without even trying!

In my book, the opportunity I’m reviewing today is absolute genius – it manages to target a niche that millions of internet users will enjoy…

Video gaming!

So, is Gaming Jobs Online a scam or is it worth your time, effort AND money?

Gaming Jobs Online Review

Ever since Sega released the MegaDrive back in 1988 the world of gaming has been on an upwards climb.

It was a step away from the basic ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64 games with improved graphics, durable cartridges and quick loading times!

Games consoles have become BIG business ( I should know – I just paid out $400 for my son’s Xbox One! ) and the games they support, even bigger business.

Gaming Jobs Online has grabbed hold of this opportunity and can (apparently) offer you work that will net you $39,000 per year!

Sounds awesome right???

Well let’s take a closer look at this bunch…

What is Gaming Jobs Online?

So, what is Gaming Jobs Online? How can you earn from their platform?

Well they offer exciting positions for video game testers…and people who want to take surveys???

Yeah I know – how did surveys suddenly come into the equation…something don’t smell right here!

What is Gaming Jobs Online?

The platform offers to provide you with a database of companies that are supposedly looking for game testers.

I’ll be honest with you here – this database ain’t worth s##t!

As soon as you get into the actual site you realize you are on VERY dodgy ground – you can make money…but NOT by playing video games!

Surveys seem to be the main flavor of the day…but I wasn’t hanging around to see how effective they were!

Why wasn’t I hanging around?

Well, when was the last time you encountered a 10 minute online survey that paid you $25?

Enough said!

Out of Date

Out of all the pretty much pathetic money making opportunities they had to offer I would have said about 75% of the links were out of date. Thankfully I only paid $1 for a 7 day trial.

Gaming Jobs Online Review

Everything on offer here was out of date and I couldn’t find ANY sort of job that involved the video game industry.

Maybe I joined on a bad day, maybe the site was under maintenance…or maybe this is a worthless scam?

Is Gaming Jobs Online a Scam?

I’m laughing to myself here as this is probably the easiest review I’ve had to do since starting up this website.

Let’s take a look at some of the warning signs…

  1. The opportunity is completely misleading ( from start to finish! )
  2. They constantly bang on about unrealistic earning levels
  3. The information you are paying for is already free online
  4. You must provide your credit card details – even for the trial
  5. Paypal wouldn’t touch this bunch with a 10 foot pole
  6. The jobs they offer are near enough non-existent
  7. There are thousands of refund complaints online about them
  8. They have the balls to actually state most people won’t make money with their system ( in the small print at the bottom of the site! )

If I took my time and dived a little bit further into this lot I could probably come up with more shockers. But I really don’t want to waste any more of your time or my own!

The Con Zone

Work online scams always manage to shoot themselves in the foot…because they are owned by idiots who don’t actually have the effort to work for a living.

Gaming Jobs Online is no different…

There are red flags setting off alarm bells all over their sales page and all over their site.

First off we have the false ‘as seen on’ logos – as easy as right clicking on Google images and pasting into your webpage!

Do these false logo’s actually work on people these days?

I sincerely hope not!

Then we’ve got the false testimonials…and this one’s a real beauty!

Apparently a gaming magazine named Shoot ‘Em Up loves this product – or so Editor Chris Page would have you believe!

Scam Logos

Only one problem here though – Chris Page is nothing more than a photo nicked from Facebook and Shoot ‘Em Up doesn’t seem to exist…anywhere!

The landing page also provides you with a calculator so you can judge how much you are going to earn BEFORE signing up with them…

Give me a break!

Is Gaming Jobs Online Legit?

No it’s not – not on any level. There is no worth in this system, it is completely misleading and I have no idea how it’s managed to last more than a month online!

It’s not often that I come across online opportunities that are this easy to review – absolute crap!

Don’t go anywhere near the product – not even for the $1 trial. With a bit of luck the owner will accidentally break the fingers on both his hands and this shameful product will have to disappear from our bandwidth.

A waste of everyone’s time!

Chances are if you’re on this blog, you’re looking for income you can sustain for the long haul. If this is the case, check out our #1 recommendation HERE

  1. Hi Chris,

It is crazy how there are so many people out there ready to con you and unfortunately, so many people who are gullible enough to part with their money and fall for it!

What is even worse is that because of this, genuine products and services get lumbered into the same category, making it harder to prove yourself even if you are genuine and want to offer a quality service! Do you agree? How do you overcome this challenge?

    1. I certainly do agree Holly – the only was to sift through the garbage is to research EVERYTHING before you sign up! Always use caution! 🙂

  2. Hi there!

I always wanted to know more about gaming jobs. It seems too good to be true and as you said, they are no different than the other online scams. Going through your post, I can see how irritated you are because of this and it’s totally understandable.
I hope that people will have a chance to read your article and gain more awareness.

Keep saving people with your wake up posts, it’s really helpful.

  3. Hi Chris,

I was reading an article the other day about this becasue I wanted to get my younger brother into something like this. Very timely and great post with everything I needed to know. i can only imagine if something like this was legit all kids would never even go to school.

    Thanks for the insight.

  4. What about the new United Games app opportunity? Is that a scam too? I’m involved in the United Games app deal. Well, we’ll find out soon enough. Anyway, your post is interesting. Are you involved in games and aps etc? I hear Pokemon is doing well.
    Thank you,
    Edward Mijarez

  5. Hey Chris
I’ve often wondered about this Gaming Jobs opportunity. Seems too easy right?
I think thats the point you are making, “if it seems too good to be true, it is.”
The problem is that these con don’t care about the 1000 people who are too smart to be tricked. It’s that 1 out of a thousand they are looking for. And taking into account the population of the Internet, 1 out of 1000 is still quite a few people.
Thats why we need reviews like this.

    1. Totally agree Keith – there’s always a percentage of the population that will fall for this type of thing (which is why scams online are still so popular!)
