Over the last couple of decades you may well have noticed a rise in the amount of free samples dished out by superstores/supermarkets.
You know the ones – the dodgy little kiosks in the middle of an aisle with an aging lady in a hat handing out medical-looking cups of some sort of dessert?
Yeah them – they’re everywhere aren’t they?
But there’s always a reason for this right – I mean companies don’t go around handing out stuff for free right?
What’s in it for them?
Well they are hoping you will eventually want to buy the product you have tasted…
Unless you are my ten year old son who makes a point of raiding them without an ounce of conscience shining through!!!
Today we will be looking at an opportunity to earn that is based on the same sort of marketing – free samples and spread the word mate!
So, is Bzzagent legit or is Bzzagent scam?
Let’s take a closer look…

Bzzagent – that’s got to be one of the worst company names you’ve ever come across right?
I mean, who sat down and came to the conclusion that Bzzagent was an awesome startup name???
BzzAgent.com is a product testing panel that is based in Boston (in the US of course!).
So how does this gig work?
Well, you sign up at their website and make your way through a ton of surveys. These survey results give Bzzagent an idea of what products you use on a daily basis.
They then use this information to decide what products you would like to use…and they send you free samples of them!
Sounds pretty decent so far right?
At this moment in time they are only accepting new members from the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.
Why Become a Bzzagent?
I know what you’re thinking at this point of the review – how do I make some money?
Well you don’t!
Seriously, you don’t!
The only monetary gain you see through using Bzzagent is free products – which is a type of reward at the end of the day (this will certainly save you money in the long run).
You see, once you have signed up for a Bzzagent position you begin to sort of ‘pimp out’ your social media accounts – NOT something I’m that keen on.
But think about it for a minute – all your close mates and family members will get to see the exciting new products you are trying out…
This is pretty powerful social media marketing right?
So, you can pick and choose what products you fancy and test them out – do some word-of-mouth marketing for the company, and then write a Bzz report on the product.
The more time and effort you put into the product report the more invites to new products you will see in the future.
So it’s all about free stuff really – the main currency here is not paying for products (which isn’t ideal but it’s better than nothing!).
The most common complaint I have come across so far is the length of time this process takes.
Once you have handed over all your info and survey results you would expect to be piled knee deep in free products right?
Not the case I’m afraid!
It’s more like a trickle of products here and there – in some cases you don’t even receive ONE product!
This is NOT a consistent avenue of free products I’m afraid – far from it in most cases!
A lot of past members left the platform due to the amount of personal info Bzzagent needs to perform.
In some cases members needed to spill the beans on their medical history and information on their family tree!
Most people get disgruntled with the platform because they only hand out free products.
Although they are completely upfront about this – they should really think about offering some kind of point system or reward cards somewhere along the line!
It would make sense right?
And I’m sure they’ll get a lot more new members to sign up if they did!
Is Bzzagent Legit?
Yeah it’s definitely legit but at the end of the day – is it really worth it?
I mean free products are pretty cool – but money is even cooler right?
But the site is completely free to use so you will never be in any danger of losing money. Not for me, but I’m sure they will appeal to other internet users out there!
