Is 5Linx Legit?

Is 5Linx Legit?

The first review of the new year – Merry Christmas and a happy new year by the way (this year I decided to take some decent time off for once – recharge the batteries!)

Wouldn’t you know it – this first review is covering YET ANOTHER MLM opportunity – 5Linx.

I actually first came across this bunch several years ago but I hadn’t really gathered enough specific info to judge their service. They’ve been around since 2001 so they’ve seen a fair amount of success.

So, is 5Linx legit or is it yet another MLM scam setup?

Are the 5Linx products really up to standard and do people make money through selling them?

Let’s take a closer look…

The 5Linx Review

What is 5Linx?

The catch-line that 5Linx are currently using to draw new members in goes down this path…

“With 5Linx you can create an income by offering products that help people build a legacy”

Quite a bold statement, but, the more products or services you have to offer – the more chance you have of making money…right?

They apparently have the power to seek out and target emerging trends and industries – making the products they offer easier to sell.

5Linx Products and Services

There are three main sectors, or niches, that 5Linx products are picked from…

#1 The Home Niche: This niche covers products related to telecommunications, tech support and security services for your home. Their ‘home’ setup seems to do a good job of offering customers products that are traditionally quite highly priced, for less. I did spend some time looking into this and they do appear to offer a competitive pricing setup (for the home niche, at least!).

#2 The Health & Wellness Niche: A typical MLM niche setup really…with one rather original angle (which I’ll get to in a moment!). They offer products that are aimed at providing you with a healthier life – but they also offer their own telemed.

What is a telemed?

Well, this is a function that allows customers to contact a doctor consultant for more information in their own personal health issues, and what products are best suited to these issues.

#3 The Business Niche: This niche choice is setup to aid digital marketing needs, packs of services for mobile marketing and business enhancement problems. Most of the products on offer here are designed to help businesses increase their profits and success levels.

As you can see, 5Linx covers A LOT of subjects with it’s products…but is having this wide span of products a good thing…or a bad thing…

5Linx Login – How Much to Join?

Yep – this is yet another MLM company so I’m afraid you’re going to have to put your hand in your pocket if you want to get your foot through the door!

Now, I wish I could make this section a little bit simpler to understand BUT their membership packages really are a pain in the ass to follow. I did try using layman’s terms to cover the pricing but I only ended up confusing myself (and therefore anyone that was going to read this!).

In the end, I simply ‘borrowed’ the membership listing from a related website…because they seem to have covered all the bases, even though it still seems a little confusing…

As you can (just about) see – there are 4 main packages that each include an upsell of some sort. I really wish I was able to set them out in an easier format but this is the way their membership levels are designed.

If you are interested in joining 5Linx, I would recommend picking a package WITHOUT an upsell to begin with – you never really know if they are going to be worthwhile unless you are familiar with the majority of products on offer.

The 5Linx Compensation Plan Template

Nothing really new to report on with this compensation plan – it’s a fairly straightforward MLM package at the end of the day…

Once you have paid to become a member you are given the right to sell the 5Linx products (depending on what package you chose!). Of course, you have got hold of these products at a reduced rate so you are selling them at a profit!

When you start selling their products you officially become known as a Independent Marketing Representative – rather snazzy name, isn’t it?

Compensation Plan Template

On top of this, there’s the dreaded recruitment.

Why is this a ‘dreaded’ option?

Well, this is the main reason MLM companies tend to make their members enemies of the neighborhood.

I’ve lost count of the amount of past MLM members who have posted their recruitment failures online – it never makes easy reading.

There’s nothing more irritating than a friend turning up on your doorstep with information on a ‘once in a lifetime opportunity’ – all of a sudden this friend becomes someone you really don’t want to mix with any longer!

Is 5Linx a Scam?

No, I can’t say that 5Linx is a scam…but it is a MLM opportunity…which is something I could NEVER recommend on this website.

It’s worth pointing out that the company has been running for over 17 years and the Better Business Bureau seems to like them (they have a A+ rating at the time of writing this!).

But MLM is MLM at the end of the day – and not many people tend to make money through these setups.

If you are thinking about taking on a 5Linx role I really would advise looking into network marketing first – get some experience and some education on this marketing format.

I personally don’t believe that anyone should pay to make money online – I think the option to start your own internet business should be free…
