2019 UPDATE: Clixsense has now changed it’s name to ySense.

Many people make money taking surveys online and for several years now Clixsense has been the most popular ‘port of call’ for this type of work. I first encountered Clixsense six years ago when I was first starting out online and I have remained a member ever since.

I decided to write a review about my experiences with Clixsense over the years. In this Clixsense research review, I will discuss how well it works, what jobs it has to offer, some minor drawbacks with it and how to use the site effectively.

By the end of this review, you should have a good idea as to whether Clixsense is the right work at home option for you.

What is Clixsense About?

Clixsense is a site that offers various opportunities to people who are interested in earning money completing tasks online. Clixsense was founded on February 2007 and has provided a legitimate service to online workers ever since.

There are currently just over 4 million members making money with Clixsense – check out the stats from their homepage below:

Who Should Join Clixsense?

Basically anyone who fancies earning money completing tasks online. But to be specific, I believe the site will benefit:

  • People who are looking to create a second income to bump up their weekly wage
  • Stay at home moms who are looking to make money from home
  • Individuals looking for ways to legitimately make money taking surveys online
  • Students who are looking for extra cash
  • Retired individuals who are bored and want to bump up their pensions
  • People who are looking to make a little extra to cover the monthly bills
  • People who want to make money with micro jobs

Simply put – Clixsense is for anyone who is looking to create a income online!

Making Money With Clixsense

There are 6 main methods you can use to make money with Clixsense and I shall go over each one in detail here:

1) Get Paid to View Ads

Clixsense started out life as a PTC site and evolved into the work online site it is now.

So what is a PTC site?

PTC stands for Paid to Click and that’s exactly how they work – you get paid to view ads! Advertisers pay for cheap traffic and you get paid for becoming that cheap traffic – it really is that simple!

get paid to view ads

The amount of adverts on offer changes from day to day but the more often you visit the site the more adverts you will catch ( I know people who keep the site open on one of their browser tabs all day and keep popping back for the new ads! ).

There are four varieties of advert available to view displayed on the table below:

How much Clixsense Adverts Pay

I’m located in the UK and I normally receive a high amount of adverts every day. The advertisers that use Clixsense can choose to geo-target their adverts towards certain countries.

At the time of writing this the US, Australia, Canada, UK, Ireland and Germany tend to get geo-targeted the most often.

2) Make Money With Micro Jobs

This is a very popular work option with Clixsense members – earning money completing tasks online. You can make A LOT of money through these tasks but it does depend on the amount of time you can dedicate to the site.

Below is an example of the tasks available in my account today ( this is just the top of the list – there are 100’s more on offer below these! ).

make money with micro jobs

I know of many fellow Clixsense members that earn over $60 a day by completing tasks alone!

I used to use this section religiously and it helped pay my various memberships during the initial days of me working online. Unfortunately these tasks are pretty mundane and you have to be quite a workaholic to get through a serious amount a day.

Each task can pay anything from $0.01 to $0.24 but sometimes there are special offer tasks that pay a lot more. Each task takes a couple of minutes to complete but the higher paying ‘specialized’ tasks can take longer.

The tasks are all internet based and include…

  • Analyse Multiple Search Query Results
  • Categorize Online Daily Deals
  • Data Entry
  • Finding Errors on Webpages
  • Mini Surveys
  • Validate Authors & Articles
  • Market Research Jobs
  • Comparing Images
  • Rule-Based Search Relevance
  • And much, much more!

As I mentioned above people are earning GOOD MONEY by completing these tasks but it does depend on your level of patience. If you find a task you enjoy then you have the opportunity to sit in front of the computer all day and slowly build up your earnings!

Just recently I took part in a task that involved me rating individual tweets about the new Call of Duty game – I loved it and I sat there for four hours taking part (and my earnings balance was VERY healthy at the end of the day!).

3) Get Paid to Complete Offers

This seems to be another popular earning avenue on Clixsense but if I’m honest – it’s not for me! The special offer section is divided up into:

  • Free Special Offers
  • Paid Special Offers

Get Paid to Complete Offers

The Free Offers

These free offers usually consist of the following:

  • Watching Videos
  • Taking Surveys
  • Downloading & Installing Programs
  • Entering Online Competitions
  • Install Mobile Phone Games & Apps
  • Sign up For Monthly Trials

The Paid Offers

These paid offers involve you paying for goods or service then receiving more in return. For example you may pay for a monthly subscription to a site then receive the same amount plus a few dollars more when the month is up!

These paid offers usually consist of the following:

  • Purchase Software & Apps
  • Signing up For Monthly Subscriptions

I have to admit that I stay well away from these paid offers as I’ve never 100% trusted them. Many people use them and make good money from them but I don’t like the idea of paying out money to earn money – to many things can go wrong!

4) Legitimately Make Money Taking Surveys

A lot of people make money taking surveys online but they sometimes struggle to find the legitimate survey providers. Clixsense has removed this danger by offering daily surveys from all the TOP marketing companies.

legitimately make money taking surveys

This was another option I took up when I was first making money online and I became quite successful at it. Surveys tend to pay a lot more than the tasks on offer at Clixsense and they are a very popular and relaxing way to earn.

Survey’s pay anything from $0.50 right up to $5.00 on completion. On average they take no more than 5 – 10 minutes to complete. I used to casually run through them as I was watching television and earn without really having to think about it!

Surveys are a BIG part of Clixsense and I would advise every new member to try them out as soon as they sign up – there is BIG earning potential within them!

5) Earn With The Clixgrid

This is the simplest way to make money with Clixsense but it is based on a game of chance – there are no guarantees you will make daily money with this method.

The Clixgrid is basically a lottery where you are provided with a scenic picture divided up into squares ( a grid ). You are given a set amount of chances to pick various squares out of the gird to see what is underneath them.

Earn money with the Clixgrid

Each square will show you a very short advert then inform you whether you have won a prize or not. Below is a list of the available prizes:

  1. $10.00
  2. $5.00
  3. $0.50
  4. $0.25
  5. $0.10

If you are a free standard member you get 30 chances at picking various boxes on the grid daily. The premium members receive 60 chances a day!

You might go days without winning anything on the Clixgrid but it does pay out frequently. I don’t use it every day but my current total winnings stand at $104 which isn’t that bad really!

6) Complete The Daily Bonus Checklist

This checklist is an opportunity to bump up your daily earnings by reaching the targets Clixsense sets out. It’s a pretty cool function and you should have no problems completing this checklist on a daily basis.

Once you have completed the checklist Premium members earn 12% extra on the money they have earned and Standard members 5%.

Clixsense ChecklistAs you can see from the image it’s not to difficult to reach the targets set out:

  • Click on at least 6 PTC ads
  • Use up 20 chances on the Clixgrid
  • Successfully complete at least 10 tasks or…
  • Complete 2 surveys

Once this checklist is completed you receive the bonus on EVERYTHING else you complete throughout the day – it can really make a difference!

For example if I earn say $4 over a 24 hour period and I am a Premium member I will get an extra $0.48 at the end of the day. If I am a standard free member I would receive $0.20 extra at the end of the day!

The Good & The Bad

  1. Hi Clixsense,

Is your registration restricted to specific countries , As i live in South Africa.

    Let me know your thoughts,

    1. Hi Jade, Clixsense has a lot of members that are from South Africa already! As long as you use a payment processor they approve ( Paypal for example ) you should be fine 🙂

    2. Make Money Betting Online. You Can Make Money Faster And Easily. Deposit And Withdraw Money By Webmoney, Perfect Money, Bitcoin, Paypal, Skrill And Payeer. Visit (Link removed because I am an idiot spammer!)

  2. I have never heard of Clixsense before. What do you think the average earnings in a year would amount to? $10,000? $6,000? Let’s say one works at least 5 hours a day here. Any guess?

    1. Hi Lin. The more you use the site the more in tune with the work flow you become! I know of friends that earn a lot through this site daily but they have no life lol. The work is there for everyone but it’s not always interesting work 🙂

  3. Wow! this is so cool a real legit online money earner for almost anyone. You have done a great job of explaining this and I am sold. Does it have an affiliate program (do you get anything by promoting it?) GREAT JOB love it 🙂

    1. Hi Peter, Yeah it has a standard affiliate program that pays out a percentage of the referrals daily work. It’s a great site with many different options to earn but it is hard work – the jobs are not exactly high paying but they are legit 🙂

    1. Sorry? Are you referring to the daily bonus list Clixsense offers it’s members? You’ll have to be a bit more specific so I can answer your question properly chandrika 🙂

  4. This is a great review on clixsense, I have made some money with survey’s online but have struggled to find a way to filter out the good ones from the bad ones, clixsense really sorts that out! thanks for the article! looking forward to more

    1. Hi Dean,
Yeah the best thing about clixsense is the survey quality – they only use the decent providers. If you have a problem with the survey not paying the clixsense support will sort it out for you! They are a great, legit option for earning a little extra online.

  5. Wow, Very interesting I thought I had heard of all the places but am interested in click-sense. This seems like a very good program allowing you to look at ads to reviewing things to taking surveys.

If just the surveys work and you can get qualified for them it is better than 90% of the survey websites out there and you still have the option to do other tasks.. WOW I am in shock you know people that make $60 a day from it. Not to bad Unless they put in 12 hr a day or more or complete it, but hey I guess that is still $5 bucks an hour and better than most of the place that I have seen. I will definitely be checking this out. Bravo on the good in depth review.

    Thanks Brandon

    1. Hey Brandon,
Yeah I know people that make a lot from the site but it’s worth noting they are logged in all the time. I think they basically live on the site which must be a bit of a boring life!!!
The more you put into the site the more you get out but I don’t think I could be as dedicated as these people – answering surveys all day long would drive me up the wall 🙂
Cheers for stopping by and leaving your opinion – hope clixsense works out for you!

  6. Clixsense seems to be a great way for those who have heaps of time to spend on the computer. It’s good that people can make money online in legitimate ways. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Hi Teresa!
Yeah I’ve heard it referred to as the ‘bored housewives site’ at times! A lot of women who do not work spend hours on the site racking up the dollars! If you have the time you can make tidy money there and it’s legit – it’s also been around for about a decade now ( which is always a good sign ).
Cheers for stopping by – hope your Clixsense journey works out for you 🙂

  7. Hey Chris,

Earlier this year, when I was still figuring out the online world, i came across a some survey sites that pay well, including one that had a story of some elderly lady who makes up to $1000 a year from these surveys; thing is, she was registered on over 30 of them and she was very active.

My question is, do you think, for someone seriously considering online surveys as an online revenue stream, one can do well with Clixsense alone (the 6 activities), or would he/she have to register to a number of other sites?

Great review about Clixsense by the way; had never come across it.

    1. Hi there Ken,
Yes, I myself did quite well at Clixsense when I first started out online…but it was A LOT of work. I couldn’t go back to doing those sort of online jobs again!
I know of quite a few people who do really well there but they are logged in all day long – as soon as a job pops up there they take it. It’s down to the individual – the more you are willing to work the more you will earn there 🙂

  8. Hi Chris,

Nice review of a platform I had no idea existed!

I loved your idea of watching TV and doing a few surveys.. Why not get paid if your just sitting around anyway?

What I can see within the different options of making money within this site is that it is probably a way of multitasking. opening adds while filling in surveys and pressing the clixgrid..

It’s a good way to get that extra cash for bills that need paying, or that saturday night you’d love to go to a nice restaurant without feeling guilty..

I’ve got one question tho.. If there are people who are serious about starting an online business, don’t you think spending hours on Clixsense trying to make a few bucks works counter productive? Wouldn’t it be better to put that time and effort in to learning and working on your online business?

Cheers and thanks for this info, I’m going to have a look in to it 🙂

    1. Hi Maarten,
If you are looking to make BIG money online then this is not the option for you – Clixsense will create some sort of weekly income but it won’t be anywhere near as much as you can earn through a successful internet marketing business!
I used to use Clixsense as a way of paying my online bills when I started out – worked like a charm 🙂

  9. Hey Chris
Very interesting, I thought all of these types of ad click and online surveys were scams. Taking surveys sounds like the best way to go. I am like you the pay to get paid sounds risky. And Clixgrid would not be for me either. And it is free to join that is good.

    1. No Randy, most of these older types of GPT sites are not scams – don’t believe the hype. There is a list of ‘elite’ sites that have been around for years now – always paying and always legit ( Clixsense is one of them obviously! ). It’s just a simple earn online site that offers people many opportunities to build up a secondary income.
Don’t believe everything you read online 🙂

  10. This is new to me. I’ve never heard of ClixSense. So many choices.

I’ve tried other micro-task sites, but the best jobs were always snatched up in a hurry.

Is the $17 upgrade a monthly or annual membership? It seems like you’d have to do a lot of micro-tasks to make that money back.

Still, if I’ve got nothing else to do, I could always make some cash at ClixSense.

    1. Hi there 🙂
The $17 upgrade covers you for the full year – you DO NOT have to keep it going though ( you can go back to standard the next year if you choose ).

  11. I have been a member of Clixsense for years and I used to be quite active but yes it is time consuming when you have a full time job.

I only use it now if I need to purchase advertising, and find that the advertising works quite well and is relatively inexpensive.

I think if you can get referrals underneath you in clixsense then you make more without having to actually do much on the site.

    1. Yeah the advertising is actually pretty effective with their platform – mainly because of the timer they use! You HAVE to stay on the advert page to get any sort of reward for visiting it. The referrals are so-so in my experience – I get some that work a bit and some that do nothing once they get there!
Still, it’s an excellent site for building up a supplemental income ( in a legit way! )

  12. Hi Chris!

I just opened my account and earned my first 0.001 🙂 And of course I used your link!
Had no idea this kind of sites existed online!!!

    Best regards!

  13. Thanks for a very thorough and informative article. This is the best review I have seen on how to make money by clicks. I have often seen the adverts, but summarily ignored them because I thought they were all scams!

You covered everything the the service offers and I think will have convinced whoever stops by to give it a try if they have the time (and patience)…I really do not have the time right now because of work requirements, but I will be referring my daughter to this site, because she has the time!

Good stuff and I think you mentioned that you are signed up and use this/get paid…Are there others that are any good? My daughter could use the extra income truthfully, and she is always hanging around the compouter!

Thanks for sharing this great review with everyone!

    1. This sounds like it would be perfect for your daughter then Dave – all you need is a payment processor like Paypal and you’re off! Happy earning 🙂

  14. Great review of Clixsense, I have used it before and I’ve felt that it is not worth my time to work for a pennies. Time needed to earn money here is ENORMOUS and after a few days, people realize that it is such a waste of time. It is great if you are bored and want to do something with your time but then again there is always something better to do.

Those kind of sites in my opinion are such a waste of time, it is much much better to come with an idea for a web business or write a blog about your interest and earn money through delivering value to people.

Sure it is not a get rich quick scheme but the time spent there is well invested and much better than clicking on ads and taking up surveys especially if you are not from USA, Australia, UK or Canada which get much more opportunities to earn money. In my humble opinion it is not worth it, not even for some quick money.

    1. Wow you really don’t understand how the Clixsense platform works do you Ante? Another one looking for a get rich scheme online?
Clixsense is like any other legit earning site online – if you want to make decent money through it you HAVE to work hard. If you’ve ended up with pennies it’s because you haven’t put the effort in. With Clixsense – you get out, what you put in!
Good luck with your online earning

  15. Wow., I never heard of this before. But I guess if we want to make money with clixsense, the time dedicated seem like 24 hours a day. Is it easy to use? Is there any upsell to take up tasks in Clixsense? I saw that to become member, monthly subscription is $18. Any other hidden cost?

    1. Hi Florence,

You seem to be a bit confused there! Clixsense is completely FREE to join and use with NO monthly subscriptions. There are no upsells anywhere along the line 🙂

  16. sir I am from India.I am selected PayPal mode my native is rural area how can I earn money.I am selected ptc in the site.what’s my work pls give me full details to mail id

  17. Hello there

l used to be a member of Clix sense when l started online, as you have said on your review, there are many ways to earn money in Clixsense, the paid to click ads,the Clix grid and the surveys.
simply put, endless ways to earn there if someone is looking for some little change.
Again as you said, earning real money without referrals can take time, what with the little0.001 if you are not lucky to get the $10.00 grid which l never did.
Thanks for a very informative review for anyone looking to make some money with PTC.

  18. Hi Chris thanks a million for such an in-depth review, I was involved in a discussion on paid surveys the other day and many of the scam sites out there. I knew there were legitimate ways to complete them but wasn’t sure which sites to recommend.

I think all online work is hard work and many of the tasks where you are working for someone else is going to be low paid. But as a way to make an additional bit of income whilst staying at home it seems like a well established and legit scheme.

The only question I would have is about the paid to view ads and whether that is like asking people to click on your adsense ad on a blog page, which may not be what the advertisers intended?

    1. Hi Marie,

No most ad networks won’t allow your site to be on a PTC or a Traffic Exchange – it’s against their terms and regulations!

  19. Clixsense sounds like something to try out. Particularly since you said that the surveys are actually worth it. I’ve had very little luck finding surveys that were worth it. And since there are other options as well, you can avoid boring yourself!

Do you know if you have to be in the US to use this site?

  20. For the first time i coming across this site clixsense though i extensively browsed the net searching for an online job for many years. After reading your review i decided to do some more research about this site before giving it a try as i always love to do some small micro jobs like the one’s offered by them.

  21. Paid surveys? I’ve tried the paid surveys and have up to now have not been impressed. I get about 10-12 questions into the survey then obviously give a wrong answer and get a pop up telling me that I don’t qualify for the survey. I’ve wasted a lot of time and never made one cent. Will I have the same problem with the surveys at Clixsense?

    1. Clixsense is a whole different ball game James – it only accepts top survey panels. Demographics will ALWAYS determine whether you qualify for a survey or not – who wants to pay for an opinion they don’t want? Besides, Clixsense offers many online mini jobs, not only surveys!

  22. hello sir i am praveen from india
please tell about how to transfer money in my clixsense account to my bank account please help me sir

  23. Hey Chris
This is great i have put a lot off time before into doing surveys for other companies but all they do ask is to know more about you. After you spend all that time talking about yourself they have to approve it. total waste of time. But looking at your website its very interesting to know that clixsense sounds like something legit.
I like how you keep up with your customer and all the comments. After reading thru your page i have more confidence in that area. thanks
    Keep it up.

  24. Hi ThereChris,

That is a great review about click sense and how to earn a few easy bucks doing tasks that, quite literally a monkey could do!

might, more often than not make you $10 or $20 bucks daily but nice little second income or an income for students, teenagers and lets be honest here a great full time income for those in developing nations.

    1. Yeah it really is a popular site for those ‘types’of nations Derek – what seems like pocket money to us is a lot of money to them!

  25. Hey Chris,
Omg Clexsense sounds really interesting, I’m so glad you made a review on his. I’ve been hearing good things about it but some reviews are good whereas others aren’t aren’t so I really don’t know.

I trust your reviews more than anyone else’s so I’m definitely giving it a go. Its a great way to earn petty cash when I have some time off from my blog I guess. Thanks for sharing this, I’m gonna register by tonight!

  26. Hi Chris,

I have had my experience with PTCs like Clixsense. They might be a bit hard to get a solid income at it, being a bit saturated, but nonetheless, they are an amazing advertising source just on member’s number alone.

I would definitely recommend it for advertisers as a good more affordable alternative to PPC users.

  27. I am a member of Clixsense but have stopped doing any of the stuff there. Time spend = payment received doesn’t equate to a sensible ‘ROT’ (return on time. I think my time is better spend on building a website and write good content. This will generate more income!

    1. Okay, fair enough Mazlan, but some people are looking to make a little extra online – not eek out a career (which is where Clixsense comes into play!)

  28. Extra money for you. I recommend Clixsense. Join free..

(Link removed due to the fact you are plainly stupid)

  29. Thanks for a great review of Clixsense. I have looked into something similar elsewhere but hadn’t looked at this one. One of your commenters mentioned that it is good to see people making money online legitimately, and yes there are a lot of scams out there. Obviously, “Clixsense-rs” aren’t under any delusions that they will be getting rich quick. However, if you are going to be online all day (Facebook, etc.) why not get paid a bit for it?

Thanks for the great review, this has been helpful for me!

  30. It seems like this has a number of ways to make money, so even if I do not like surveys, I can make money by clicking on ads. Clicking on ads can not be too hard, and I think that doing it just ten minutes a day in the morning will go a long way and I eventually will make some nice money. What do you think?

    1. Yeah that’s right Ben – Clixsense offers loads of ways to earn a little legit cash online. Ten minutes a day won’t make you much though…

  31. I have been a member of Clixsense for a number of years, and over the years it has changed for the better.

I have not been too active over the last few years, as I concentrate more on building my websites, but your article has made me realise that maybe I need to try and make more of an effort to recruit others.

    1. Yeah I have a very healthy downline there Michel – when people join they tend to stay for a while which results in good referral earnings!

  32. Never heard of Clixsense before, but it sounds interesting. I have only really tried InboxDollars and Opinion Outpost which I talk about on my site. I may have to give this a go though. Especially in free time when I have nothing better to do, these can add up to a little spending money on the side. Thanks for the info!

    1. No problems Nick – it’s one HELL of a lot better than InboxDollars and Opinion Outpost, the earning level is much higher and the payout is more regular.

  33. I have been trying to understand for the past years how to make money online jobs works, but has never managed to find sufficient information that i have found today on this website.

It has been very clear to me how I should gaining money with an online business, especially the services of getting paid for viewing ads.

Thankyou very much for sharing such important information freely with us.

    1. Well just viewing ads isn’t really going to help you mate – take on ALL the earning avenues Clixsense offers and you’ll see a much bigger return!

  34. Hi, thanks for sharing about the Clixsense company. I have never join this before but the way you said it seems quite tempting for me to go and try it out. Seems easy to earn some extra cash. Is it possible to earn a full income like about $5k per month at home for this?

    1. $5k per month? Hell no Peter!!!!

It’s best you go back and read the review again mate – you won’t get rich using this site but you will make money.

  35. This is a very in-depth review of Clixsense.

I myself used to use Clixsense years ago when I 1st started trying to make money online. back then I know how to do some of it but did not know how some of the features worked

This post would have helped me a lot.
    Thanks for posting

    Thomas Ydell

    1. Yeah you need to know ALL the options available there to make decent money through the platform Thomas. They are adding new ways to earn all the time!

  36. This was actually a really good review of Clixsense and at first I thought….just another scammy way to participate in surveys. You have actually piqued my interest in this an I plan on joining. Heck, while I am sitting at the computer working, I can have the browser open for it. Seems easy enough. I also agree with the paid offers. I don’t think I am going to bother with those.

  37. Hi Chris, great review on Clixsense. Good to know there is a place where one can make legit money, even though it’s not big money. If it paid a bit more, I would probably take advantage of it. Thanks, Tom

    1. Well sorry we couldn’t tempt you today Tom – why not try our #1 recommendation instead? It’s more like a full time job but the money’s definitely there! Your choice mate – have a good day!

  38. Really found this to be helpful. Great that you detail all of the opportunities that Clixsense offers and give your honest personal opinion of each of them. I had not heard of Clixsense and will most likely be checking them out. Strangely enough, the ClixGrid is interesting to me. Thanks for the information.

    1. A lot of people tend to like the Clixgrid for some reason Jen – it’s pretty much an online lottery!

Oh well – everyone has a favorite I suppose…good luck with your Clixsense journey 🙂

  39. An excellent review of the Clixsense. I’m looking for other sources of income on the internet and it seems to me that I might try it with this. Have Clixsense any sense? I think it makes sense but needs a lot of time and patience. Not for people who want a quick buck. That It existed since 2007 and has so many members, gives me hope that it is not just another scam.

How long have you used them for and how much money did you make with them in your time there?

    1. Well I’m still very much a member there Deva but I have a large downline of referrals – so I don’t really do that many tasks these days!

Basically I’m still making a weekly wage there but without having to do any work – just the way I like it! 🙂

  40. I like your detailed review of Clixsense and the various ways of making money.
I did hear of it but it sounded like something really tedious for small rewards.
It’s good that the jobs on there are legit and one is not left trawling the net for what sometimes turns out to be fakes.
For people who do not want to invest time and money building a site, this is surely a good option

    1. Yeah it is the simple option Kavinah – simple yet legit!

They offer legit work for low pay but they always pay out on time – their support system is excellent as well. I have a huge downline of referrals there but I don’t really have the need to use their jobs these days…I still love the site for it’s simplicity and honesty though! 🙂

  41. I read your post with interest. I have heard of Clicksense before and have been a part of similar programs in the past. The earnings were very low with them. I agree that is it ideal for a lot of people to earn a little extra but can you ever earn any more than a few dollars? Do you have to qualify for surveys like you do for other survey sites? Very good article and lots of good information. Thank you.

    1. The surveys are set up pretty much like most other reward sites Margaret – it’s all based on demographics really! The earnings there are the best I’ve experienced from any GPT site, but I have a downline of referrals to back my payments up!

You won’t get rich there – but you will have the opportunity to make some decent money!

  42. I always regarded Cixsense a bit of a scammy type of system but the way you have explained the various roles it is completely legit – Thanks.

I would imagine the work is a bit tedious, requiring dedication to fork full time to earn an average wage, completing surveys and clicking ads all day but the way you describe it and because you are involved confirms it’s legitimacy.

I shall check it out myself this coming week – see what all the fuss is about!

    1. Yes that is one word to describe it Simon – tedious!

But the work is there, there’s plenty of it and it’s legit – a great place to start off earning online

  43. Hi, Chris. To be honest, I have never heard of Clixsense. It really looks interesting. It’s nice to find a legitimate online survey site (among other things). Most of the ones I have looked at are scams. The only other one I have tried is Swagbucks, and I really like it. How does Clixsense compare to Swagbucks in terms of payout?

    1. Hi Andy,

I get a payout from Clixsense every week but I have a lot of referrals there. In my opinion Clixsense is WAY better than Swagbucks (there’s much more opportunity there!).

  44. Hi
This was a very honest and informative review about how to work online.
I live in Malta and I have tried to join a couple of the other legit sights but they said that it was not available in my country.
Clixsense seems to be the ideal place to make some extra cash.
Do you know if it is available in Malta?

    1. From what I gather, it is available in nearly all the European countries David – check it out and see (it’s fast and free to sign up!).

There are a couple of worldwide countries excluded for obvious reasons but the rest of us are free to use it when we please!

  45. I have been doing surveys for years but this is the first I have heard of Clixsense. It sounds like a great way to make a few extra dollars for Christmas. I was surprised by the some of the amounts paid for surveys. I usually get only from a few cents up to about $2 but that is pretty rare. Thanks for sharing this site.

    1. No problem Margaret – in my opinion it’s the best ‘task’ site out there and has been for many years now. It offers the ability to earn half decent amounts in a legit fashion!

  46. Hi Chris,

I’ve been a member of Clixsense for many years. When I first joined, I didn’t really think it was worth it but then i started understanding how you can earn with this platform and I’ve stuck with it (even if it’s just completing a survey a day).

It’s one of those earning platforms that’s been consistent, never fails to pay on time and I like using it’s advertising platform.

I am focusing more on creating websites now a days but I think that Clixsense is a great site to start with when you first start looking at earning money online.

    Thanks for sharing!

    1. Same here Tej – I’ve been there for many, many years now. You won’t get rich there but you can pay off a few bills by logging in and doing a bit every day!

I used to use it to pay for my marketing education 🙂

  47. Excellent website. So effective that I am your newest clixsense referral. I love how you laid out everything about the program that I was able to make a very educated decision by the time I got to the clixsense banner. Great job. Your website is very clean, concise, easy to navigate and the information was served in a way that was not confusing. Thanks again and congratulations on having me as your newest member!

    1. Well hello Michael – welcome to the Clixsense community!

Great to hear it tickled your fancy – how much are you looking to make from it on a daily basis and what tasks are you looking to take on?

  48. Thanks for the Clixsense review, I have tried and tried and tried to make money doing online surveys not only is it time consuming, but you don’t get told your ineligible until after you spend 10 or more min filling out the stupid survey. It’s quite infuriating. It sounds like Clixsense has multiple ways to earn some additional income.

    1. Yes demographics will always come into play when you are completing surveys online Alison – but that’s certainly not the only way you can earn through Clixsense!

Check it out for yourself – it is free after all! 🙂

  49. This is a really good review on Clixsense, and because of the review I joined them a few weeks back. I just wanted to come back and revisit your post and look at your suggestions again. I have to say, now that I have been with them and doing the surveys, etc. You can make money and it is a nice little extra monthly income. I am glad I took your advice!

    1. Ahh so you signed up did you? Well that’s good news. Pop back here whenever you need any help with the platform and don’t forget the contact form at the top of this site if you want to get hold of me directly!

Good luck with it all! 🙂

  50. Your review looks so great and I headed straight to ClixSense! Didn’t know I already have an account with them! So sorry I couldn’t be your referral. The review you wrote is so convincing and that tempted me to sign up under you. I have to applaud you in the good job you did with the review. Didn’t know they offered so many categories for you to choose from. Great review!

    1. LOL that’s alright Miss Snow White (great name!), as long as you’re a member there that’s fine! Thanks for checking out our review anyway and happy earnings!!!!!

  51. Hi Chris,

I’ve heard of Clixsense before but I didn’t know it was a site where you could make money. This is interesting. I love how you explained each method of money making clearly giving us a clear understanding of how each method works. This is the way a review should be given to help others make a decision.

I’m going to bookmark this site, and if I find that I have a little time to do this then I may come back to join. Thank you for sharing.

    1. Okay Rosa, no problem!

It’s not for everyone so have a look about first – if you need to ask us any more questions about the platform please don’t hesitate (you can use the contact form/page at the top of this site!)

  52. Clixsense is an excellent place to buy some cheap ads. If you are promoting make money online niche this is a great place to advertise. The idea of earning cents for clicking ads sounds depressing to me. Maybe because I live in a expensive city and need way more than 60 dollars per day to survive.

    1. Did you read the whole article Magda?

Clixsense is A LOT more than just clicking on adverts for money – it holds a host of opportunities to earn from!

As from the advertising side of things – you seem to have a bit more experience than me there! I never pay for website traffic so I’m not sure what Clixsense is like in that respect…it seems you’ve had a positive experience with advertising there!

Thanks for sharing your Clixsense experience with us! 🙂

  53. Sir my account suspend now I am again open my old account how plz give solution my credit 122$. Something but suspend .

  54. I joined a few days ago but whenever I try yi complete tasks it tell me that my country will not allow..m please helo..did I miss a step signing up?

  55. Access to this page has been denied. Access via a Proxy/VPN/VPS or from a country not on your profile is not permitted.
This is what I get..please assist me so I get started

    1. Are you using some sort of VPN or VPS Magz? Also, what country have you listed in your profile and what country are you looking to sign in from? If Clixsense registers that you are using some sort of proxy or similar they will not allow you to work with them.

  56. It does look like an interesting site and it is good to see that it pays out its members as well and has done for years. It is also great it gives a variety of things to do, tasks etc and you have many choices and the chance to win from the lottery…or clixgrid as it’s called!

Sometimes I like these kinds of sites – you don’t have to worry about paying out monthly fees to earn!

My only negative on it would be that is seems you have to spend alot of time for very little reward. How many hours do you spend on it now? Like what hourly rate would it work out to in your currency? I am Aus Currency. Would be interested to know. Thanks

    1. Hi Sharon,

Clixsense gives a decent reward for the work there but it is a lot of work – as far as hourly rate goes that’s extremely hard to judge (it all depends on the worker and his/her dedication).

I don’t use the site to work from any longer – I run websites for a living these days!

I do however have a large down-line of referrals there and they earn me money on a daily basis (which is nice!).

It’s best not to think of the site as a hourly rate-type option – more a place to go to earn some legit money online (you are not going to get rich there!).

    1. Sorry for the delay Cheryl. You can earn just about any amount at Clixsense but it is work at the end of the day – and sometimes the work is tedious at best. If you have the willpower to battle through the tedious micro jobs then you can earn a decent amount over a three hour period etc.

  57. Hello Chris,

I have read your article on Clixsense Research Review, really Very interesting article, Thanks for a very thorough and informative article. This is the best review I have seen on how to make money by clicks. I have often seen the adverts, but ignored them because I thought they were all scams. Taking surveys sounds like the best way to go. This seems like a very good program allowing you to look at ads to reviewing things to taking surveys. I will definitely be checking this out.

    1. Hi there mate!

Right, it’s important to point out that Clixsense doesn’t really use the PTC format any longer, they now only offer the higher paying jobs and tasks (which is good news all around really!).

Still, plenty of surveys there! 🙂

  58. I’m glad I came across this article. I’m currently working a job I’d rather be doing without. Not saying that it doesn’t pay; it does, but for someone who wishes to earn full-time income through writing, affiliate marketing, and personal training, this particular job is taking 50-60 hours out of my week. While the $700 paychecks after tax deductions are fantastic, I’m not someone who particularly enjoys working constant overtime in a job I don’t like and I don’t care if the weekly pay was $2,000 after taxes. It’s draining, so I’m giving this a trial run. I know it might not pay what I’ve become accustomed to, but I’m a natural when it comes to sitting in front of my computer to work, being a writer before anything else. $60/day, seven days a week isn’t bad money. It’s not great, but it’s something that’ll pay the bills while building the dream.

    1. That’s great news Todd…but I really wouldn’t advise giving up your job to do it. Use it as a side income to your job instead!!!

  59. I came across clixsense some months ago when I was still looking for sites that pay to do surveys and other tasks. I did a little research and read a dozen reviews  about the site. I registered on the site but I’ve been reluctant in doing the tasks on the site.  Although this is partly caused by my numerous activities online which has denied me the luxury of time that I once had.

Thanks to your review maybe I’ll need to head back to clixsense and see how far  I can go with it

    1. Okay Sammy!

Maybe the site is not your cup of tea and you have other earn online options to use? Either way, thanks for taking the time to comment on our article.

  60. Hi Chris, I’m really glad to read the review of Clixsense on your website. It came across me exactly at the right time, I was literally looking for such opportunities these days. I’ll go ahead and sign-up through your link and I hope I’ll get a good experience of this product, as you have mentioned.

My only question to you is: “Does this opportunity has similar benefits worldwide? Or, it has more opportunities for the countries listed by you?” As I live in India, hope it will be beneficial for us as well.

Thanks a lot for sharing this awesome and detailed review. Looking forward to try it out.

    1. At the time of writing this, there is a problem with new members from China joining, due to the use of bots in that area. Everyone else is free to use the platform, no matter where they are! 🙂

  61. Clixsense seems exactly what I am looking for. In the past, I have been burnt more than once and I thought that they are all the same when it comes to getting paid for doing a survey etc.

I appreciate all the various options Clixsense offers and your honest opinion on each of them.

I guess I give it a shot, for sure, and I have saved your article for further reference.

Thank you for all the information.

    1. Okay Sylvia, sounds good!

Just remember that the more you work on the platform the more you will earn. It’s not a magic bullet for money, you will have to put in some elbow grease!

      Good luck 🙂

  62. I has known about clixsense since over three years ago. There was a time I always did surveys there and also click ads, play games and did a whole lots of task. I must confess that its really a genuine website, in which I cashed out twice. Though I had to leave the site when I got better online jobs which pays me more. Thanks so much for this lovely review, am sure it will be helpful for many who come across your article

    1. Well it’s great to hear that you made some money there mate, and eventually found a higher paying job online. Well done, and I hope you see a lot of success online with your new venture! 🙂

  63. I’ve been a member of Clixsense since 2015 and while I don’t earn a huge amount each month I have made and successfully cashed out just over $1000 which is of course a nice little bit of cash once it added up.

I have to admit that it was slow going getting started and I gave up thinking it wasn’t worth it and someone I know told me to go back and give it another chance. When I did that I started seeing better results.

I also don’t complete offers since I don’t like filling in my details in so many places. I also don’t like signing up for trials and then having to remember to go back and cancel so I don’t get billed. The tasks are also not my thing because I find they take up a lot of my time.

I enjoy doing the surveys. My best earnings though are from promoting Clixsense and earning affiliate income. I usually earn a little every day, its not huge amounts but it adds up over time.

    1. Yeah I’m pretty much the same these days Lynne – I earn there mostly from a downline of other people working. Thankfully I have a pretty decent downline…so I see pretty decent earnings!!! 🙂

  64. Six years of remaining a member of Clixsense is a huge testimonial in itself! Followed closely by the fact that over 4 million members are making money with Clixsense. What more needs to be said aside from the fact that there are very few cons, and that there are so  many different ways to earn through Clixsense. Thanks so very  much for sharing. I’d never heard of Clixsense, but at a time where I am struggling financially, this could be my answer!

    1. That’s really cool news Josie – I hope it works out for you and you find the work there a good fit. Good luck with your online earning journey!

  65. I always used to think that sites like this pay really little for a lot of work done but I think clixsense is pretty ok. For a site that gives out surveys and daily task to be completed, I think the pay is ok for anyone looking to have a side hustle. The only issue I have with sites like these is that they are mostly available to certain regions and tend to leave out other regions or more jobs go to some particular regions than it does others.

I would like to know if clixsense is available worldwide or just to certain countries only. I used to try applying to similar websites but my country wasn’t allowed access. I just want to know if this is available worldwide or if there are certain countries that are not allowed access.

  66. Hi there! I just finished reading your review of Clixsense and thought I would just drop you a quick comment to say thanks. I’ve been looking around for something like this for some time now and I’m certainly interested in joining. I have tried websites like this in the past that have turned out to be complete scams, so its good to see that you consider this one to be legit.

I joined a site a couple of months ago that appeared very similar to this, but ended up wasting my time as they simply didn’t pay when it came to cashing out.

I know I won’t get rich fro this, but I guess I could make a little extra pocket money!

    1. Well you can make as much money there as you want Andrew…the more you put into it the more you get out of it!

Just remember that the work is not exactly that interesting (in most cases), so it can grind after a while! But, the more you do the more you earn. 🙂
