Whenever I come across a new internet marketing training program I have to dive in and find out what it’s about!
Ever since I completed my training at the awesome Wealthy Affiliate I’ve felt the need to know about EVERY marketing new kid on the block.
I suppose it’s just down to comparison at the end of the day – I need to know if the newcomers are effective as the WA’s platform.
A couple of weeks back I came across a Warrior Forum post regarding Dan Brock’s Deadbeat Super Affiliate. There was a huge forum response to the question posted so I figured the product must have something worthwhile about it!
Due to it’s low price, I decided to pick up a copy and cover it in a review here today. What is Deadbeat Super Affiliate and is it worth your time, money and effort?

Deadbeat Super Affiliate Review
The Deadbeat Super Affiliate is a revised version of a video based Internet marketing training program that originally launched several years ago.
The owner of the product, Dan Brock, promises to teach you everything you need to know about building websites around Amazon Affiliates products.
Dan claims to be raking in over $10,000 a month and he’s willing to share all his internet marketing secrets with you ( if you buy the product of course! ).
The training is geared towards any level of internet marketer so it’s suitable for newbies to the subject.
The Introduction to The Product
I can usually tell a lot about which way a product is going to go by the direction the sales page decides to take you – in this case I was VERY wrong!
I’m not going to lie to you – at first I thought this was a bare-faced scam!
The sales page itself is in the form of one of those dodgy videos you find advertised on PTC sites. We have a guy sitting around his rather swanky house showing off his Porsche that he obviously bought out of all the money he made.
I hate this kind of thing – real internet marketers don’t own Porsche cars ( and if they did they wouldn’t feel the need to show them off! ).
Then we get to the constant reminders that this system is super easy and you are going to make a wad of cash on autopilot. We then move onto your typical payments without verification and fake checks.
It’s the type of sales video I have seen a thousand times before and I’ll probably end up seeing a thousand times again. The one thing in common these videos have – they work!
Yes ladies and gentlemen – these videos certainly work on newcomers to the online earning world.
They are well produced, they are enticing and they get you to put your hand in your pocket.
Inside The Box
After the sales pitch I was more than surprised to find that the product was only $17 ( without any of the tempting upsells ). This tiny price gave me access to 23 videos with a total of over 5 hours of material.
I was expecting the videos to be full of nothing but ancient affiliate marketing fluff but to my surprise…they were actually rocking!
I was confronted with easy-to-follow, well produced and engaging video content. Maybe I had jumped the gun a bit on the scam call?

Dan Brock’s Deadbeat Super Affiliate Positives
I’ve always been a big fan of video learning ( or video tutorials if you like! ) – I find myself ‘getting it’ a lot sooner when I follow a visualization.
Dan Brock’s videos are excellent BUT if you are more of a traditional bookworm you can follow the information in transcription format! Each product comes with both video and text formats!
I was also pleased to find out that the video tutorials were in order for once ( I’ve lost count of the amount of times I bought one of these products and got lost halfway through the education! ).
It’s basically as easy as climbing the stairs – each video is in order and leads to the next step you need to take in building up your business.
I know what it’s like to be a beginner at affiliate marketing – it’s often overwhelming and confusing. The videos/text lessons remove all of that making them totally suitable for beginners.
Dan also makes sure that you are not drowning in your own ignorance when it comes to choice of niche. There are long drawn out lessons that teach you how to pick the correct products to promote. The last thing you want is to spend months promoting a product that is high competition.
It seems that Dan Brock was also savvy enough to recognize the need for a proper support system within the product. How often have you bought a product and then realized there was a 3 day waiting zone for support ticket replies?
Dan Brock’s Deadbeat Super Affiliate comes with a live member forum on it’s website. This is an awesome way to get quick help when you find yourself stuck on something.
I used the forum for a couple of hours every day just to get a feel for it. I was surprised to see that Dan himself spent a period of time on the forum, helping out whenever he could.
And The Downsides…
Yeah, by now I’m sure you know that nothing is perfect – especially online! I was more than impressed by the overall value of this product BUT there were a few downsides I just couldn’t overlook…
The first irritant definitely has to be the false testimonials used on the video sales page of the product. I know this is common practice these days but it really does put me off going any further with a product.
In this case, Dan already has a decent enough product…why bullshit people into thinking it’s actually better than it is?
The second irritant is the good old upsells on offer within the product – why aren’t these included in the price of the overall product?
Well in most cases the upsells are crap you don’t need to make the product work – this is why they are not included with the product in the first place!
My third gripe with the system on offer here is the slightly dodgy tactics Dan tries to teach you in a couple of the videos…
- Backlinks from social bookmarking sites
- Purchasing views and likes for YouTube
Let’s start with creating backlinks on social media sites – something that is NOT recommended by most SEO experts these days!
In the past you could blast social sites to build up an extremely healthy portfolio of backlinks…but Google sort of put an end to this in style!
One or two backlinks from strong social sites ( Google+ or Reddit ) is fine – but don’t risk going any further than that! Google is constantly on the lookout for websites that are spamming social sites and when they find you – they will deal with you swiftly!
The second dodgy point I’d like to cover is the purchasing of fake views and likes for your YouTube videos. Again, Google is no fool and they actually own YouTube.
What do you think will happen to your videos if they are flagged as suspicious?
Nothing good – believe me!
Deadbeat Super Affiliate Scam?
To be honest with you, I was more than a little surprised by the overall quality of this product. For the rather ample price of $17 you get an awful lot of good, solid and easy-to-follow information.
There are downsides to the product, as covered above, but they are far outweighed by the quantity of effective information on offer.
Is Deadbeat Super Affiliate scam? No, not in my book!
