Is PrizeRebel Legit?

Ever since I stumbled upon Clixsense all those years ago I have had a sort of ‘soft spot’ for the majority ( not all! ) of reward sites out there.

They are not for everyone – but the members that do suit these sites seem to do pretty well out of them!

Now, I’m not going to sit here and pollute your mind with affiliate marketing gas – if you want to earn BIG MONEY then these sites are NOT for you.

If however, you want to earn an extra income every month, a bit of a pocket money boost – ( most ) reward sites are the bomb!

Today we will be taking a look at yet another one of these reward sites named PrizeRebel.

So, is PrizeRebel legit and paying?

Let’s take a closer look…

PrizeRebel Review

The site setup is pretty much bog-standard for the reward site genre. You can earn money by:

  • Downloading smartphone or tablet apps.
  • Doing online tasks
  • Signing up for product trials or services.
  • Taking surveys
  • Referring other people
  • Filling in your profile
  • Liking a Facebook page
  • Taking a tour
  • & More.

As far as I could tell it doesn’t really matter what country you come from – they near enough accept everyone on an international level.

Unlike Clixsense, they ( unfortunately ) opt to reward each completed task with a bunch of points that you can eventually exchange for goodies.

I’m not a mad fan of this sort of points based system – I wanna see cold hard cash in my account EVERY time I complete a bit of online work!

When you have enough points totted up you can exchange them for various gift cards ( Amazon etc. ) or a money gift card for Paypal.

PrizeRebel Review

The cool thing about this particular system is that the payout level is pretty realistic for once – a $2 cashout threshold!

That means once you have built up enough points to exchange for this sum you are good to go ( processing time is usually not more than 24 – 48 hours! ).

PrizeRebel Scam? ( Complaints )

The site seemed pretty secure to me but as always I had to carry out a little research on it’s past misdemeanours.

First off the bat is the fact that you have to sign up for offers to make the good money. There’s nothing wrong with this…as long as you keep a sturdy record on what is what!

These sign up offers are free but if you forget to cancel when the trial is up you will be billed for a month or so!

This means you may earn about $3 for the sign up period and end up paying out $10 for a monthly subscription!

You can see where things get a little dicey there can’t you?

The second irritant I came across was numerous members complaining about their email addresses being pimped out!

Now, I’m not too concerned about this – if you are stupid enough to sign up with these offers using your main email account you deserve to be spammed ( harsh but true I’m afraid! ).

ALWAYS use a designated secondary email for these types of work online opportunities.

PrizeRebel Scam? ( Complaints )

There are also a number of past members who have complained about not receiving payment or losing their accounts – but how many of these are legit?

I have seen numerous offers for get free PrizeRebel points and PrizeRebel bot on my travels so I wonder how many members have tried to trick the system?

99% of the time members lose their accounts for VERY good reasons – they’ve tried to pull the wool over the admin’s eyes!

Every online company has it’s terms and conditions printed – not many of us read them…but they are there for a reason!

Is PrizeRebel Legit?

There was nothing about this site that screamed scam to me – much like Clixsense, they have managed to build a pretty effective earning platform!

People are happy there and people are getting paid – what more could you want?

Reward sites are very useful to people who want to earn extra money online without the hassle of owning a website or signing up for various tutorials.

You have to remember that they are hard work and successful members put a lot of time and effort into the earnings level they reach…

  1. Hi, I tried Clixsense before and got bored with it rather quickly. The tasks were mundane and I had to spend way too much time to earn that little amount. If PrizeRebel is similar to Clixsense, I won’t be interested in checking it out even if it is legit. Thanks for your review.

    1. LOL well you obviously gave it all of 5 minutes Yvonne! 🙂

There are no shortcuts online – if you want to earn decent money you have to work hard ( no matter what platform it is! )

  2. Hi Chris, as a stay at home mum, I am looking for a legit online earning source since few months. I never tried PrizeRebel but I tried my luck with Cliksense and I stopped checking it after few days because the earning was so less. But people who prefer points based system can try their luck once as it is legit.
